Forest Adventure Grand Course
Like or ever desire the experience of climbing up a tree and swinging from one tree to another tree 5 metres above the ground? If the answer is yes, then come now to the natural environment of Bedok Reservoir Park to experience this one of a kind experience. Situated along the banks of the reservoir park, the forest adventure grand course has 32 different stages including a 12m Tarzan swing where you would get a chance to jump from a 7.4m platform and swing into a rope net 2m below, giving you a chance to put yourself into the shoes of the famous Disney character Tarzan.

It also includes a 65m section comprising seven different bridges. It is also fully equipped with swings, ladders, bridges, nets and trapezes that lead you from the starting point to the ending point. However, to reach the ending point, you are needed to overcome some high elements and adrenaline-rushed obstacles.

I am personally a resident leaving near the area and I go to the park for my weekly jogs every weekend and even without trying, just by standing below the obstacles and watching tourists doing it, it gives me an urge to be up there trying out the high elements obstacles and its seems so fun and cool. As I participate in OBS and camps in my CCA National Police Cadet Corps, there are high ropes elements course in the camps and I enjoyed it very much, however, this one is much different than those which I have tried before in terms of their surrounding and the range of obstacles they have. The best thing about this forest adventure course is that it ends with you taking the ‘Flying Fox’, a Zip-line across the most unimaginable surface, the surface of the water at the reservoir, the very first in the world and at 176m long, can you imagine the adrenaline rush which you are going to experience when you zip your way across the surface of the water at the park?

Kid course is also available and thus it’s an activity for your whole family regardless of your age from children to adults.

For those worry about the safety level at the course, here’s something to calm all your worries. At the course, all participants would be equipped with safety gears like helmet and safety harnesses attached to the safety line and before the start of the course, there would be well trained instructor giving you a thorough brief on what everyone is suppose to do so do pay attention. After the briefing, participants can now start attempting to overcome the obstacles and moving through unaccompanied that would give you an additional adrenaline boost with the instructors below you giving you the instructions and assistance which you need. In addition to that, there would be signage describing the activity with the instructions on the ways to navigate through the obstacles and the tip to complete it fast. The facilities are inspected and maintained regularly and lightning protection is installed to ensure the high level of safety.

Therefore do not worry and go over now to Bedok Reservoir Park to try out the exciting and adrenaline-rushed forest adventure course. Here’s one comment from the instructor there, ‘Like all height courses, it looks easy from the ground, but once you are up there, it’s going to be different.’ For all those adventure seekers out there, here’s one built for you. Come and approach and overcome your fear!
Unsuitable for people with height phobia!!!
